Private Training Programs

In our private dog training programs we are so confident that you will get great results that we provide Bonus training lessons until you are happy with the results. If our clients require extra assistance we offer it at no additional cost. If you do the work, we will help you for as long as needed at no extra cost!

Our private training clients are expected to do just two short sessions per day that are just 15 min per session for a duration of 4 weeks. After that, we transition into maintenance mode, and your time investment is even less. We train you how to train your dog in situations that are already happening. For example. Your friends are already coming over for lunch, we will show you how to integrate our methods into the time you are already investing in your dog.

Board & Train Programs

For our board and train dog training programs we are confident you’ll love your results. If your dog goes through the board and train, though, and the results aren’t what you wanted we will work more with you and your dog at no additional costs.

This may be additional private sessions or additional time in board and train, depending on what will best help you get to your goal.

What are your hours of operation?

Monday-Sunday 9am-9pm

Do you do in-home training?

We will gladly come to your home to help you an ensure that the training is effective on your property.

Do you use clicker training?

All that clicker training is used for is to communicate with your dog that it has done something correct. Rather than using a clicker, we opt for verbal marker training. We would use the word “yes” rather than a click, and in-so-doing we have an extra free hand available.

Does your method work for small dogs?

Yes! Training a small dog is no different than training a medium, large or extra large-sized dog. The concepts are entirely the same.

Does your method work for aggressive dogs?

I can confidently say that e-collars are a game-changer for aggressive dogs when they are used with the right technique.

Does your method work for any breed?

Yes. More than breed we focus on personalities. We adapt the program to the personality of your particular dog.

Does your method work for older dogs?

Older dogs will require more patience (especially anxiety cases) but they are capable of learning the same things as younger dogs.

Does your method work for stubborn dogs?

I think that letting stubborn dogs find the limits of what’s acceptable and what’s not can be very beneficial because if your dog never discovers there are limits on what it can do, it may be more resistant and stubborn.

How long are the training lessons?

1 hour

How long does it take to get good results?

You should see rapid results by using my dog training method. It’s normal for clients to be able to see good progress the first week and start to get real life(at the park) results on the 3rd lesson.

How much time do I have to train my dog everyday to be effective?

15 min in the morning and 15 min in the evening is all you need.

Do you do Board & Training?

Yes. If you are busy or planning a vacation/business trip your dog can undergo training while you are away, so when you return you’ll be returning to a happy, obedient dog that is under control and well trained.

How many hours of training a day dogs get in the Board & Train?

24h teaching manners and 3 lessons a day of pure training.

How often should your dog wear the e-collar?

When you start training your dog with an e-collar, you will want to have your e-collar on your dog only during your lessons each day.

Do I have to use the e collar forever?

You’ll need to be 100% consistent with your training for at least six weeks before thinking about transitioning off the e-collar. After six weeks have passed and you think your dog is ready, you can wean your dog off the e-collar.

Is the e collar going to hurt my dog?

No! We’ll use the lowest level we need to get the kind of results we are looking for.

I think my dog can’t be changed because it has always been this way. Do you think is going to work for my dog?

Yes! We’ll make very clear to your dog what’s good and what’s not okay to do. Clarity will make your dog want to do what’s good for itself and avoid the bad.

Do you have experience training dogs?

I’ve been training dogs since 2017.

Is Belen (the trainer) capable of solving my problem?

Can I use an e-collar on my fearful dog?

A fearful dog is a dog who avoids conflict. They shy away from things that make them uncomfortable. They need to understand that threatening other people or dogs that are not even paying attention to them is excessive and will not be tolerated. We’ll have to use patience and plenty of positive scenarios to bring them out of their shell.

My dog is reactive towards other dogs...is your method going to work?

Every time your dog barks, growls, or lunges at a person or dog, and that person moves away from it, your dog convinces itself that it scared that person/dog away. This method will help you communicate with the dog and let it know that you don’t like that and there is no need it should act that way.

Is it for me?

Only if you really want to have a well-behaved dog that respects you and your property.

What if it doesn’t work?

If you follow the steps the method works 100% of the time.

What if I don’t understand anything... if it’s too complex?

My dog training method is a step by step process and easy to follow. We’ll focus on one goal at a time so no need to be overwhelmed. We’ll take as much time as we need to get the kind of result we are looking for.

What if I can’t do it?

If you are busy or don’t want to be as involved you can opt for a Board & Train program.

Why are your training programs expensive?

I like to take care of my clients, deliver results and a good service. If you want results and a premium service where I guide you by the hand in every step of the way then you won’t find it expensive at the end of the program you’ll be glad you invested the money to have a stress free life with your dog.

Does it have a guarantee?

We most certainly do! We obviously can’t guarantee that your dog will be perfect, every minute of every hour or every day. But we can guarantee that we will stand by you during the training process and continue to give you support until you feel that you are happy with your dog’s progression. Some dogs progress rapidly in training, and some are not as quick to progress, not to worry as we will help you as long as you need our help.
