"After doing basic obedience classes with a local pet store, our Coton de Tulear puppy was still anxious and fearful around dogs and people. Romeo would pull on his leash, lunge at other dogs and bark at them non stop. Walks became a stressful experience to the point we avoided popular dog walking hours. Since working with Sunny Dog Training we now have a calm, well behaved dog and we can all enjoy our walks together. This was our primary goal but Belen also taught us how to teach Romeo not to bark when the doorbell rings! After a month we can all calmly walk past dogs and other distractions. We are so grateful to Belen as we are now meeting the neighbourhood dogs (and not avoiding) so Romeo can socialize with good manners. Thanks to Belen and her patient and clear guidance we now better understand that Romeo was experiencing reactivity.
